20th after Trinity

For the unbeliever, the thought of facing death can be a terror, but in Christ, we have a hope that the world cannot understand. While we are greatly saddened at St. John's at the loss of Pastor Ron Bretherick, our Pastor for so many years, we rejoice that he, along with Bishop Daniel Cox, has joined the Church Triumphant, and been received into the arms of their Savior! Our continuing reflection on Ephesians this week takes us to see what Paul was personally looking at while he was facing death, chained in Rome.
